Scenes from the day

I photographed a family celebrating both Shichi-Go-San and omiyamairi at Chiryu Shrine in Chiryu, Aichi. The gallery follows this shared milestone through portraits of the children and the whole family.
Two celebrations, one family story
Holding Shichi-Go-San and omiyamairi on the same day brings different stages of childhood into one set of photographs. Alongside the formal portraits, the gallery preserves the family together in the shrine grounds.
Photographs that let the day speak
The original Japanese post was published primarily as a photographic record. Rather than adding details that were not written down, this translated edition keeps the images at the center and presents the location and occasion clearly.
Before planning a shrine session
Photography rules, applications, and possible fees vary by shrine and may change. Please confirm the latest information directly with Chiryu Shrine before booking; we can then plan a comfortable schedule around both celebrations.
